Sunbelt of Miami Valley, LLC was started by brothers Gerry Chadwick and Mark Chadwick and is one of over 350 worldwide offices of the Sunbelt Network. Sunbelt of Miami Valley, LLC works with buyers and sellers accross the United States but spends most of it time serving clients in Montgomery, Greene, Butler, Miami, Clark, Champagne, Preble and Darke counties.
Gerry Chadwick is a 1973 graduate of Alter High School and 1977 graduate of the University of Dayton with a BS in Marketing. During his business career in sales and sales management he has lived in Chicago and Appleton, WI., returning to Dayton in 1995, where in addition to his professional life has been active within the community.
Gerry is a member of the Grandview Foundation Board of Directors; chairman of the Eagles Seekers Classic, golf tournament that raises funds for the Victor J. Cassano Health Center; a member of the Dayton Chamber of Commerce and other local community organizations.
Most recently Gerry spent 10 years with Excellence In Motivation, having joined the company during its start-up phase. Gerry served in a variety of sales and sales management roles including Vice President, Sales and Vice President, National Accounts and was an instrumental part of the company’s growth from $800,000 in sales in 1994 to gross sales of over $150,000,000 in 2005.
The key to the success Gerry has in business is his ability to identify the needs of the client and develop customized solutions to meet those needs. These skills not only transfer, but are critical to his role as a business broker. Gerry is a member of the International Business Brokers Association and the Ohio Business Brokers Association.
Mark Chadwick is also a graduate of Alter High School and the University of Dayton. Mark received his BS in Business Administration in 1980. Over the last 25 years Mark has held a variety of business development and executive management positions for IBM, Affiliated Computer Services, Whittman-Hart Consulting and Ernst & Young, LLP. Mark’s success has been founded on four basic principles: respect for the individual, an intense focus on client satisfaction, a hard work ethic and a passion for winning. In addition to working with sellers and buyers of general business listings Mark is the office franchise sales specialist. Mark is a member of the Ohio Business Brokers Association and the International Business Brokers Association.
Allen Beck has a history of success in many aspects of his professional and personal life. Allen is a veteran of the U.S. Navy, where he became a highly regarded expert in servicing nuclear power plants on submarines. His business experience includes coming up with creative solutions in real estate transactions, and the successful ownership of his own small business. Allen is a summa cum laude graduate of Hard Knocks University, where he majored in getting ahead through his "can-do" attitude and tenacity.
Allen brings his main street knowledge and experience to the business brokerage profession, allowing him to express the complexities of this business in plain language that all sellers and buyers,(even first-timers), can understand. Allen understands that his success relies on his commitment to helping others achieve their personal goals in selling or buying a business.

James Pierce - Graduate of Alma College and Wayne State University with, respectively, Bachelor and Master's Degrees in Management/Finance, I have over 25 years in CEO positions running public corporations ranging in size up to $200 million annually. As a Senior Business Analyst, I have also had broad experience evaluating the profitability of closely-held companies throughout the eastern United States across all business types. As Assistant Professor of Management in the College of Business at Wright State University, I am knowledgeable of the issues and challenges facing small to mid-sized companies in the Miami Valley. As a long-time resident of the northern Miami Valley, with many community and regional connections to organizations such as the Chamber of Commerce, YMCA, United Way, and Community Foundations, I believe strongly in the importance of small businesses and their owners who are the backbone of what makes the Miami Valley a great place to own a business and enjoy an exceptional quality of life.
Tim Moellering CBI- Tim grew up in Indian Hill and graduated from St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati, Southern Methodist University in Dallas, and received his MBA from Xavier University. Tim has worked for Fifth Third Bank as a Retail Associate and Baldwin Piano as a Financial Analyst. Tim also worked at his father's $20 million manufacturing business as the General Manager. Tim helped with the sale of the business and stayed on to help with the transition for an additional two years. He purchased his Sunbelt Business Brokers franchise in 2002 and earned his Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) designation in 2006. Tim concentrates on businesses doing between $500k and $5mil in sales. Tim is married with two boys and resides in Northern Kentucky.
